Honoring Mackenzie’s Legacy
Mackenzie lived with incredible strength, joy, and generosity. She loved sports, family traditions, and bringing people together around good food and laughter.
Â
Mackenzie Keiper Foundation was created to carry those same values forward—celebrating the things Mackenzie loved while serving others in her honor.

Monthly Mexican Food Nights
Mackenzie was born on the 26th, and Mexican food was always one of her favorites. To celebrate her life and keep her memory alive in our family, we gather on the 26th of each month for Mexican food.
This tradition reminds us to pause, remember Mackenzie, and celebrate the joy she brought to our lives. We invite you to join us in enjoying Mexican food on the 26th of each month to celebrate Mackenzie! Chuy's and Torchy's were two of her favorites!

Supporting Young Athletes
Mackenzie loved sports and competition. She competed in cross country, swimming, and tennis for her high school teams and she loved competing in races of all kinds - she completed several half marathons, many triathlons, and countless 5K - she treasured all the friendships she gained from running & sports over her 28 years. Through her competitive endeavors she learned determination and developed a competitive spirit that she carried throughout her life.
In her honor, Mackenzie Keiper Foundation hopes to support youth running clubs and athletic programs that help kids build confidence, perseverance, and community through sports. Recently, we partnered with Rivertree Academy in Fort Worth to support their students by volunteering and providing treats at their 2026 Field Day! We look forward to many more ways we can support the students of Rivertree Academy in the future.

Additionally, we participate in the MD Anderson Sprint for Life which raises money for ovarian cancer research. In 2026, the board of MKF is served as the chairs for Sprint for Life! It was such an honor to be able to be a part of the race in this way and to bring more awareness to Mackenzie's story and ovarian cancer as a whole. We were thrilled to be able to sponsor the Tot Trot and Sprint for Sprouts in Mackenzie's name. We are so excited to continue being part of this race in the future.
Giving Back During the Holidays
Mackenzie cherished family traditions, especially around the holidays. One of her favorite roles was preparing our Thanksgiving turkey each year.
To honor that tradition, the foundation plans to provide Thanksgiving meals or turkeys to families in need so they can enjoy a warm holiday meal together.

A Legacy of Kindness

Above all, Mackenzie believed in showing up for the people around her. Whether through sports, friendships, family traditions, or simply sharing a meal, she had a gift for making others feel loved.

Through every meal served, family supported, and act of kindness shared, Mackenzie Keiper Foundation exists to ensure that Mackenzie’s legacy continues to bring hope and comfort to others. With your support, we can bring comfort, care, and hope to families walking through some of life’s hardest moments.
