Our Story

In May 2024, our family said goodbye to our incredible Mackenzie after a courageous three-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed at just 25 years old.

Mackenzie did everything fully and fiercely. She loved sports — competing in running, swimming, tennis 🎾, and more — and she was an avid fan of basketball, hockey, tennis, golf, and football 🏈, even serving as our family fantasy football commish. She carried that same competitive spirit into every part of her life. She graduated from Baylor University 🐻, became a CPA, and built a life filled with travel, family, reading, good food 🌮, and the kind of wit and sass that kept us all on our toes.

She fought valiantly. She showed us what strength, faith, and perseverance look like in real life.

While we miss her more than words can say, we are determined that her story will not end here.

To that end, we are proud to introduce Mackenzie Keiper Foundation.

Mackenzie Keiper Foundation honors Mackenzie’s legacy by supporting families facing similar challenges, advancing cancer research & awareness as well as promoting health & wellness.

We started this foundation because we know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming a cancer diagnosis can be. We want other families to feel supported, seen, and strengthened — just as Mack strengthened all of us.

This is just the beginning. Thank you for standing with us as we honor Mack’s life and carry her light forward. 💛

With love,

Paul & Kim Keiper, Mackenzie’s parents
Maddie Moore, Mackenzie’s sister
Brian Bolton, Mackenzie’s uncle
