October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🩷💛🩵
For our family, breast cancer is personal in a way that is difficult to put into words. While Mack was fighting ovarian cancer, her mom, Kim, was fighting breast cancer - they were diagnosed just a day apart. A mother and daughter, both navigating cancer at the same time.
Kim fought through her own diagnosis and treatment while continuing to be there for Mack every step of the way.
Their story is a reminder that cancer doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it affects entire families.
This month, we honor Kim’s strength, remember Mack, and stand with every family facing cancer. We hope to continue turning what our family experienced into support, awareness, and research that can make a difference for others. 🩷💛🩵
